Position: Photo Editor

Location: Kumasi, Ghana

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Photo Editor to join our team. As a Photo Editor, you will be responsible for selecting, editing, and enhancing photos to be used for various projects, including marketing materials, social media posts, and website content. You will work closely with our creative team to ensure that our visual content is of the highest quality and aligns with our brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

• Select and edit photos for use in marketing materials, social media posts, and website content
• Enhance photos by adjusting colors, lighting, and composition
• Crop and resize photos to fit specific dimensions and requirements
• Collaborate with our creative team to develop concepts and ideas for visual content
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques for photo editing and manipulation
• Maintain an organized library of edited photos for future use
• Ensure that all edited photos align with our brand image and guidelines
• Communicate with photographers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of photos for editing
• Handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of visual content
• Continuously seek ways to improve the photo editing process and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a Photo Editor or similar role
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing software
• Strong understanding of color, composition, and lighting in photography
• Excellent eye for detail and ability to spot imperfections in photos
• Creative mindset with a strong portfolio showcasing photo editing skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for photography and visual content creation
