About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Sustainability Coordinator to join our team. As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainable practices within our organization. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining sustainability initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with various departments to ensure that our company meets its environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives to reduce the company's carbon footprint and promote responsible practices.
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into daily operations and projects.
• Monitor and track progress towards sustainability goals and report findings to management.
• Stay updated on current environmental regulations and advise the company on compliance requirements.
• Educate and train employees on sustainable practices and promote awareness throughout the organization.
• Research and source sustainable materials and services for use within the company.
• Partner with external organizations and stakeholders to develop and maintain sustainable partnerships.
• Manage the company's waste management program and develop strategies to reduce waste and promote recycling.
• Plan and coordinate company events and initiatives to promote sustainability and raise awareness within the community.
• Prepare and present sustainability reports to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles, regulations, and practices.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Passionate about environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices.
• Certification in sustainability or LEED accreditation is a plus.
