Position: Production Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, from planning and scheduling to monitoring and optimizing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production goals and deadlines
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Manage and coordinate work schedules and assignments for production staff, ensuring optimal use of resources
• Train, mentor, and lead production team members, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning
• Monitor and control production costs, ensuring adherence to budget and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and sales, to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products
• Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Prepare and present reports on production metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving production targets
• Experience with production planning and scheduling software
