Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including engines, airframes, electrical systems, and avionics
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on each aircraft
Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on aircraft
Keep up to date with all industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Communicate effectively with pilots, crew members, and other team members regarding maintenance and repair issues
Participate in ongoing training and attend seminars to stay updated on new technologies and advancements in aircraft maintenance

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; FAA certification as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Aviation Maintenance Technician
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong understanding of aircraft systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Proficient in using various hand and power tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs
