We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our grocery store and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train a team of grocery store employees, including cashiers, stockers, and department managers
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished as needed
• Create and implement work schedules for employees, ensuring adequate coverage during busy periods
• Ensure all products are properly displayed and priced according to company guidelines
• Oversee the ordering and receiving of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Monitor and control expenses, including labor and supplies, to meet budget goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate manager when necessary
• Conduct regular store inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards
• Train and enforce proper cash handling and loss prevention procedures
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to improve store operations and customer service
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a retail or grocery store environment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing industry trends and company procedures
