Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fruit Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural management, specifically in fruit production. This individual will oversee all aspects of our fruit production operations, ensuring that our fruit is of the highest quality and meets industry standards. The Fruit Production Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of employees and working closely with other departments to ensure the success of our fruit production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement plans for fruit production, including planting, harvesting, and packing schedules.
• Monitor and maintain crop health, ensuring that all fruit is grown and harvested in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage a team of employees, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to establish production goals and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality fruit to customers.
• Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and within budget.
• Conduct regular inspections of fruit production facilities and equipment, identifying any potential issues and coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends, implementing new techniques and technologies to improve production processes and increase yields.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
• Create and maintain records of production data, including yields, quality control measures, and expenses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fruit production, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of fruit production techniques, including planting, harvesting, and packing.
• Proven track record of successful crop management and achieving production targets.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using technology and software related to fruit production and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions, while also collaborating with others.
