Job Title: Art Gallery Director

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Art Gallery Director to lead our prestigious art gallery. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the gallery, including curating exhibitions, managing staff, and developing strategic plans to promote the gallery's growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the arts, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for curating exceptional exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and organize exhibitions, ensuring a diverse and engaging collection of artwork is on display at all times
• Develop and implement strategic plans to promote the gallery and increase revenue
• Manage a team of staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee the gallery budget and ensure financial goals are met
• Build and maintain relationships with artists, collectors, and other art professionals
• Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to promote exhibitions and events
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the art world
• Plan and execute special events, such as artist talks and workshops
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all staff and visitors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an art gallery or museum
• Proven track record of successfully curating exhibitions and increasing revenue
• Strong knowledge of art history and current trends in the art world
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Passion for the arts and a strong eye for curating exceptional exhibitions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
