Job Overview: As a Solar Power Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of solar power systems. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and other engineers to ensure that our solar power systems meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability. You will also be responsible for conducting site assessments, creating system designs, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of solar power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessments and analyze the feasibility of installing solar power systems
• Develop detailed system designs, including solar panel layout, electrical wiring, and other components
• Create cost estimates and project proposals for clients
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar power systems, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications and safety standards
• Perform system performance testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in solar power technology
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed
• Participate in research and development projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our solar power systems
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in solar power design, installation, and/or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of solar power systems and components, including PV modules, inverters, and batteries
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
• Experience with project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
