Job Title: Makeup Artist

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Makeup Artist to join our team. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for creating flawless looks for our clients, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest makeup trends and techniques. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including models, actors, brides, and everyday individuals, providing you with a dynamic and exciting work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their makeup preferences and desired looks
• Analyze facial features and skin tones to determine the most suitable makeup application
• Apply makeup using various techniques, such as airbrushing, contouring, and highlighting
• Collaborate with hairstylists and wardrobe stylists to create cohesive looks for photoshoots and events
• Stay current with makeup trends and techniques, attending workshops and training sessions as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and products before and after each use
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
• Travel to various locations for photoshoots, weddings, and other events as needed
• Ensure client satisfaction by actively listening and addressing any concerns or requests
• Manage inventory and restock products as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and tools
• Ability to work with a variety of skin tones and facial features
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as needed
• Proficiency in using airbrushing and other makeup application techniques
• Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a certification in Makeup Artistry or related field preferred
