Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Technician to join our team. As a Computer Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients with their computer systems and equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' computer systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by clients
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Perform upgrades and repairs on computer equipment, including laptops, desktops, printers, and servers
- Set up and configure new computer systems for clients
- Install and update software applications and operating systems
- Provide technical support to clients through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person
- Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks on computer systems and networks
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary computer equipment and parts
- Train clients on how to use computer systems and applications effectively
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Computer Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are a plus
