Position: International Development Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking an experienced International Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for making a positive impact in the world. As an International Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects focused on international development, with a focus on sustainable solutions and community empowerment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement international development projects in collaboration with local partners, stakeholders, and donors.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key issues and needs in target communities.
• Create project proposals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and organizational goals.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop solutions to address challenges.
• Communicate effectively with project partners, donors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Conduct regular site visits to project locations to assess progress and address any issues that may arise.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and government agencies to facilitate successful project implementation.
• Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure project impact and effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and support to project staff and volunteers, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Development, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in international development, with a focus on community development and empowerment.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in project design, budgeting, and implementation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
• Proven experience in building partnerships and managing relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience working in developing countries and understanding of the complexities of international development.
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in at least one other language highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes to remote and challenging locations.
