Title: Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and enhancing educational materials that align with our organization's goals and objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to develop engaging and effective curricula that meet the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop curriculum materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, assessments, and other educational resources
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content
• Conduct research and stay current with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development
• Evaluate existing curricula and make recommendations for improvements and updates
• Utilize various instructional design models and theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences
• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, graphics, and interactive activities, into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all materials meet the organization's standards and objectives
• Work with instructional designers to ensure alignment of assessments and learning objectives
• Provide support and guidance to instructors and trainers in the delivery of the curriculum
• Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve and enhance our curriculum development process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or training setting
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories
• Proficient in using authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Passion for education and a desire to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students
