In addition to these responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to plan and execute recruitment events, such as college fairs, open houses, and information sessions. This will require excellent organizational and time-management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school counselors. To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions or a related field. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Position: Admissions Counselor

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Admissions Counselor. This role is vital in assisting potential students in their journey towards higher education and helping them achieve their academic and career goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong passion for education and helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information and guidance on admissions procedures, program requirements, and academic offerings
• Conduct informational interviews with prospective students to assess their educational goals and interests
• Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, and other materials to determine eligibility for admission
• Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other recruitment partners to attract potential students
• Plan and execute recruitment events, such as college fairs, open houses, and information sessions
• Collaborate with academic departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to students
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in admission requirements, and competitive programs to provide accurate and relevant information to students
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school counselors to address any concerns or questions
• Assist with the planning and implementation of orientation programs for newly admitted students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
