Position Title: Utilities Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utilities Operations Manager to join our team. As the Utilities Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our utility systems. This includes managing a team of technicians, monitoring system performance, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards. This is a crucial leadership role that requires a strong understanding of utility systems, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of utility systems, including electricity, water, gas, and sewage.
• Oversee a team of technicians and provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules to ensure optimal performance of all utility systems.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement and cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Prepare and manage budgets for utility operations, including forecasting and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to plan and execute utility projects and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of system performance, maintenance activities, and expenses.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continually improve operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team to achieve operational goals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
