We are currently seeking a talented Makeup Artist to join our team at GlamGleam Spotlight.As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional makeup services to our clients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each client looks and feels their best by creating custom makeup looks that align with their personal style and preferences. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and create flawless makeup looks for various occasions such as weddings, proms, photoshoots, and other special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their makeup needs and preferences
• Create custom makeup looks that align with the client's personal style
• Apply makeup using proper techniques and tools
• Provide skincare advice and recommendations to clients
• Collaborate with hairstylists, photographers, and other team members to achieve a cohesive look for clients
• Keep up-to-date with the latest makeup trends and techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
• Handle cash and credit transactions for makeup services
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry trends
• Assist with inventory management and reordering of makeup products as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist
• In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques, skin types, and skincare products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in makeup artistry is a plus
