Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, with a proven track record of managing operations and increasing productivity. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to lead a team to success. The Agricultural Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our agricultural operations, including planning, budgeting, and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and profitability of agricultural operations
• Plan and manage budgets for all aspects of operations, including labor, equipment, and supplies
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of workers to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Monitor and analyze crop yields, soil conditions, and weather patterns to make informed decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coordination and alignment of operations
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in all aspects of operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural operations management
• Proven track record of increasing productivity and profitability in agricultural operations
• Strong knowledge of crop rotation, soil management, and pest control methods
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate farm equipment
