Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying concrete finishes to a variety of surfaces. This position requires a strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for concrete application by cleaning, leveling, and setting forms
• Pour and spread concrete evenly, using rakes, shovels, and power trowels
• Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools, such as screeds, floats, and trowels
• Create decorative finishes by stamping, staining, or polishing concrete surfaces
• Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect concrete surfaces
• Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces
• Operate and maintain equipment, such as power saws, grinders, and drills
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete finishing
• Knowledge of different types of concrete and their properties
• Familiarity with various finishing techniques, such as stamping, staining, and polishing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
