Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our dynamic and growing transportation team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products across long distances, delivering them safely and on time to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional driving skills, and the ability to manage their time efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive long-haul trucks to transport goods and materials across different locations
• Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Load and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or repair issues
• Ensure all necessary documentation, permits, and licenses are in order for each trip
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to provide updates on delivery status
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and fuel consumption
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, both inside and out
• Follow all loading and unloading protocols and secure cargo properly
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the maintenance department
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and other drivers on the road

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Knowledge of trucking regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of cargo
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work long hours and travel long distances
