Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify current market trends and consumer demands in the artisanal product industry
• Collaborate with designers to develop product concepts and prototypes
• Source and select high-quality materials and suppliers for production
• Work closely with artisans to refine production techniques and ensure consistency and quality of products
• Conduct product testing and make necessary adjustments to improve product performance
• Manage the production process, including timelines, budgets, and quality control
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and products
• Stay updated with industry developments and introduce new techniques and materials to enhance product offerings
• Work closely with the marketing team to create product launch plans and promote products
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide product knowledge and support for successful product launches
• Monitor and analyze product sales and make recommendations for improvements or new product developments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in the artisanal product industry
• Strong understanding of artisanal production techniques and materials
• Knowledge of market trends and consumer demands in the artisanal product industry
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven track record of successfully launching new products in the market
