Job Title: AWS Solutions Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise to develop innovative solutions on the AWS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-based solutions, with a focus on AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions using AWS services
• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems on the AWS platform
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans
• Evaluate new AWS services and provide recommendations on their potential impact and benefits to our clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices and apply them to optimize existing solutions
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to effectively communicate technical solutions and recommendations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an AWS Solutions Architect
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and others
• Experience with designing and implementing solutions using AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Excellent understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls on the AWS platform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• AWS Certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus
