Job Title: Data Storage Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Storage Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's data storage systems to ensure the safe and efficient storage and retrieval of data. This role requires a strong understanding of data storage technologies and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data storage solutions that meet the organization's needs and requirements
• Monitor and maintain data storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data storage, including hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to data storage processes and systems
• Stay updated on advancements in data storage technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or changes as needed
• Develop and maintain documentation for data storage systems, processes, and procedures
• Train and mentor other team members on data storage best practices and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data storage management
• Strong understanding of data storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage solutions
• Experience with data backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving data storage issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
