Job Title: Assembly Line Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Line Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging our products on the production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to assemble products on the production line
• Use various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks
• Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet company standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects with the assembly process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any production issues or concerns to the supervisor
• Ensure production goals and deadlines are met by working efficiently and proactively addressing any delays or setbacks
• Record and report any production data, such as output quantities, defects, and downtime
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity on the assembly line

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably on an assembly line
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed
