About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the management and maintenance of our datacenter infrastructure. As a Datacenter Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our datacenter, including the installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of all hardware, software, and networking components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain all hardware, software, and networking components within the datacenter.
• Monitor the performance and availability of all systems and promptly address any issues or concerns.
• Ensure the security and integrity of datacenter operations, including data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement datacenter upgrades and migrations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all datacenter processes and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to any datacenter emergencies in a timely manner.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in datacenter management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a datacenter environment.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
• Experience with datacenter management tools, such as VMware, Cisco UCS, and EMC storage.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
