Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production plans for crops and livestock, taking into account factors such as soil quality, climate, and market demand
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that all production processes adhere to industry standards and regulations
Oversee the selection and maintenance of equipment, tools, and machinery used in farming operations
Conduct regular inspections of crops and livestock to ensure they are healthy and free from diseases
Manage the procurement of seeds, fertilizers, and other farming supplies
Train and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
Stay updated on the latest advancements and innovations in agricultural production methods and techniques, and make recommendations for their implementation
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of farming supplies
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct regular audits of production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural production, preferably in a managerial role
In-depth knowledge of crop and livestock production techniques and best practices
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong leadership and communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different production sites as needed
