Position: Beverage Director

Company Description: We are a high-end, luxury hotel whose main campus is located in the heart of a bustling city. Our goal is to provide our guests with an exceptional experience through our top-notch services and amenities. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Director to join our team and oversee all aspects of our beverage program.

Job Summary: As the Beverage Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive beverage program that aligns with our hotel's brand and meets the needs and preferences of our guests. You will work closely with the Food and Beverage Director and other department heads to ensure seamless integration of the beverage program with our overall operations. Your main objective will be to provide an exceptional beverage experience for our guests, while also driving revenue and maintaining cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the beverage program, with a focus on increasing revenue and enhancing the guest experience
• Oversee the selection, ordering, and inventory management of all beverage products, including wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to create innovative and appealing beverage menus that complement our food offerings
• Train, supervise, and mentor the beverage team to ensure high levels of service and product knowledge
• Monitor and analyze sales, costs, and trends to make necessary adjustments and improvements to the beverage program
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable pricing and terms
• Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations related to the sale and service of alcohol
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote the beverage program through various channels and events
• Stay updated on industry trends and new products, and make recommendations for new additions to the beverage program
• Manage the budget for the beverage department, including forecasting and reporting on financial performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and other beverage products
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of developing successful beverage programs and driving revenue
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management systems
