Job Title: Policy Strategist

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Policy Strategist to join our team. As a Policy Strategist, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our organization's policy initiatives. You will work closely with our senior leadership, government officials, and other stakeholders to develop and execute effective policies that align with our organizational goals and objectives. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact through policy development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policy strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing policies, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, legal, government relations, and communications to develop comprehensive policy recommendations.
• Build relationships with government officials and other external stakeholders to advocate for our organization's policy initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the organization's operations, and proactively develop strategies to address potential challenges.
• Develop presentations, white papers, and other materials to effectively communicate policy recommendations to various audiences, including senior leadership, government officials, and the public.
• Coordinate and lead meetings and events related to policy initiatives, including stakeholder consultations, roundtables, and forums.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to policy development, and make recommendations to continually improve our organization's policies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy development and implementation, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
• Strong understanding of policy development processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing policies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex policy issues to diverse audiences.
• Experience building relationships with government officials and other external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for social impact and making a positive difference through policy development and implementation.
