Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. As a Curriculum Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our educational curriculum. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure our curriculum meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with national and state standards, as well as our school's mission and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, department heads, and other school personnel to create a cohesive and engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of our curriculum, making necessary adjustments and improvements to meet the evolving needs of our students.
• Organize and lead curriculum development meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are involved in the process.
• Conduct research and analyze data to identify trends and best practices in curriculum development and implementation.
• Train and support teachers in the implementation of the curriculum, providing resources and guidance as needed.
• Develop and maintain curriculum maps, ensuring that all content is appropriately sequenced and aligned with learning objectives.
• Monitor student achievement data and provide recommendations for instructional improvements based on the data.
• Collaborate with the assessment team to ensure alignment between the curriculum and assessments.
• Stay current with educational trends and research, incorporating new ideas and strategies into the curriculum as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of education standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with diverse populations and meeting the needs of diverse learners.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant educational technology tools.
