Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and cutting-edge automotive designs
• Utilize software and tools to create detailed 2D and 3D designs, including exterior and interior components
• Conduct research and analysis of current market and industry trends to inform design decisions
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and present design concepts to the team
• Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards
• Work closely with engineers and manufacturers to ensure designs can be feasibly produced
• Create prototypes and participate in testing and evaluation processes
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and materials to incorporate into designs
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop design strategies that align with brand objectives
• Keep track of project timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Design or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive design
• Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of automotive industry trends and consumer preferences
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for automotive design and a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
