Position Summary: As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and timely movement of materials within our organization. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products while maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders or other documents.
• Unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated areas.
• Sort, label, and store materials in designated locations according to established procedures.
• Utilize various equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and store materials.
• Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requests and resolve any issues.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
