Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are secure, scalable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud services.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve our infrastructure and make recommendations for implementation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, security, and backups to ensure system availability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, test, and implement new systems or upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our infrastructure is secure and efficient.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Industry certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
