Job Overview: As the Stage Director, you will play a crucial role in bringing our productions to life. You will work closely with our creative team, including the producers, choreographers, designers, and performers, to bring a cohesive and impactful vision to the stage. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production, from casting to rehearsals to final performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop a clear vision and concept for the production
• Conduct auditions and casting sessions to select the most suitable performers for each role
• Lead rehearsals and provide guidance and direction to the cast and crew
• Work closely with the choreographer to ensure seamless integration of movement and blocking
• Coordinate with the costume, set, and lighting designers to bring the vision to life visually
• Develop a detailed production schedule and ensure that all deadlines are met
• Provide feedback and make necessary adjustments to the production to ensure a high-quality final product
• Communicate effectively with all members of the production team to ensure a smooth and efficient process
• Attend technical rehearsals and oversee the technical aspects of the production, including sound, lighting, and special effects
• Lead the final dress rehearsals and provide last-minute adjustments as needed
• Oversee the final performances and ensure that the production runs smoothly and according to the vision

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Stage Director in a professional theater setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of theatrical production, including directing, acting, and technical aspects
• Creative and innovative mindset with a strong eye for detail
• Passion for performing arts and a deep understanding of theater techniques and conventions
