Overview: SafetyGuard Assurance is seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Insurance Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and managing potential risks that can impact our company's operations and financial stability. You will work closely with various departments to develop and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with insurance policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, risk management, and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks.
• Monitor and analyze insurance policies to ensure they provide adequate coverage for potential risks.
• Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers and negotiate insurance policies to obtain the best coverage at a competitive price.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and changes in insurance policies to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to identify any potential gaps in risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement crisis management plans to minimize the impact of unexpected events.
• Analyze and report on risk management data to senior management and make recommendations for improvement.
• Train and educate employees on risk management policies and procedures to ensure a company-wide understanding of potential risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify potential risks and develop effective strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and insurance providers.
• Proven experience in negotiating insurance policies and managing relationships with insurance providers.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Certification in risk management, such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM), is preferred.
