About the role: As a Renewable Energy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing renewable energy solutions to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate the effects of climate change. You will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable energy projects, conducting research, and analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations for renewable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, and biomass, to meet the energy needs of communities and businesses.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy audits to determine the most suitable renewable energy solutions for different locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, utility companies, and community leaders, to identify potential project sites and secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in renewable energy technologies and policies.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling tools to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of renewable energy systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and external partners to ensure successful implementation of renewable energy projects.
• Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Identify potential funding opportunities and assist in grant writing and proposal development for renewable energy projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards in all renewable energy projects.
• Participate in educational and outreach efforts to raise awareness about renewable energy and its benefits to the community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy project development and implementation.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, policies, and regulations.
• Proven experience in conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy audits.
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
