Job Title: Machinery Production Supervisor

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machinery Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Machinery Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of various machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your role will involve managing a team of production workers, ensuring quality control, and meeting production targets to ensure the timely delivery of products to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of machinery and equipment, ensuring that production targets are met and products are delivered in a timely manner.
• Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules, allocating resources and manpower to meet production goals.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are available for production.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues, escalating to management as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the production process.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
• Keep accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and any maintenance or repair needs.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in a machinery manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and procedures.
• Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
