We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Storage Capacity Manager to join our team. As a Data Storage Capacity Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the storage capacity of our company's data. Your primary objectives will include ensuring the efficient and effective use of data storage resources, optimizing data storage performance, and implementing data storage strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data storage strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze data storage utilization to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data storage requirements for new projects and initiatives.
• Manage data storage capacity planning and forecasting to ensure the availability of storage resources.
• Conduct regular audits of data storage systems to ensure data integrity and security.
• Coordinate and oversee data storage upgrades, migrations, and backups.
• Evaluate and recommend new data storage technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain data storage policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Train and mentor team members on data storage best practices and procedures.
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior management on data storage performance, trends, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data storage management.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data storage strategies.
• Strong understanding of data storage technologies, including cloud storage, SAN, NAS, and object storage.
• Knowledge of data storage backup and recovery procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Storage+ or EMC Proven Professional, are a plus.
