Position Title: Data Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year (Based on experience)

Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data solutions that will drive business decisions and improve our overall data infrastructure. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and other members of the data team to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data from various sources.
2. Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions to store and organize data for analytics and reporting purposes.
3. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
4. Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency, including monitoring and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
5. Implement and maintain data governance processes to ensure data integrity and security.
6. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve our data infrastructure.
7. Create and maintain documentation for data processes, systems, and standards.
8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow team members.
9. Mentor and train junior data engineers on best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
4. Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools, such as AWS Redshift, Spark, or Informatica.
5. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
6. Working knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
7. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
11. Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus.
