Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our company's data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that will drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines to process, transform, and store large volumes of data
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and build data models
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues
• Monitor and maintain data systems to ensure uptime and availability
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Big Data space and propose new solutions to improve our data infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Big Data Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
