Overview: Lobox is seeking an experienced Hadoop Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Hadoop Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our Hadoop-based data infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of Hadoop and its ecosystem, as well as experience with data warehousing and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for big data and a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Hadoop-based data infrastructure using tools such as Hive, Pig, and Sqoop
• Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from various sources into the Hadoop cluster
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs
• Optimize Hadoop infrastructure for performance, scalability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve any Hadoop-related issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the Hadoop ecosystem and make recommendations for improvement and optimization
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of Hadoop solutions with existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Hadoop and its ecosystem (Hive, Pig, Sqoop, etc.)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or Scala
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient Hadoop solutions
