Position: Senior ETL Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, ETL tools, and database technologies, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into the target database or data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient ETL solutions.
• Optimize and tune ETL jobs to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data integrity, and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data models, and database schemas.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ETL technologies and tools, and recommend improvements to existing processes.
• Mentor and train junior ETL developers, provide technical guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL design principles.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Hands-on experience with SQL programming and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, shell, etc.) and cloud-based ETL tools (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
