Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer

Salary: $171000 - $208000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Warehouse Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse solutions. You will work closely with our Data Architects and Business Analysts to understand our business needs and translate them into efficient and scalable data warehouse designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing concepts and technologies, along with a passion for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all data warehouse components, including data models, ETL processes, and data dictionaries.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify data quality issues, and propose solutions.
• Identify and implement data quality and data governance best practices to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse test plans and perform unit and integration testing.
• Monitor and tune data warehouse performance to ensure optimal query response times.
• Participate in data warehouse capacity planning and scalability efforts.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and data integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse design and development using tools such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality concepts.
• Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
