Key Responsibilities:

Conducting data mining, cleaning, and preprocessing to prepare data for analysis
Developing and implementing statistical models and algorithms to analyze large data sets
Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations in data to provide insights and make predictions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
Communicating complex data analysis and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Continuously evaluating and improving data models and algorithms to ensure accuracy and relevance
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science to enhance our analytical capabilities
Mentoring junior data analysts and providing guidance on best practices for data analysis and modeling

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques such as regression, clustering, and time series analysis
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlikview
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and ability to handle and analyze large data sets
Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus
