Position: Software Architect
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $209000 - $240000
Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Software Architect to join our dynamic team. As the Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems that meet our clients' business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure that our software solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software architecture for new and existing systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools that can improve the efficiency and performance of our software systems
- Define and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Ensure that the software architecture is aligned with industry standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Mentor and coach junior developers and share knowledge with the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years as a Software Architect
- Proven experience in designing and developing complex software systems
- Expertise in software design patterns and principles
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with cloud computing and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
