Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance and scalable systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement system architecture and design documents.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of systems and ensure they meet security, performance, and reliability standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage system upgrades and ensure smooth transition and minimal downtime.
• Continuously monitor and assess system performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in system engineering and make recommendations for adoption.
• Train and mentor junior system engineers and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability principles.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
