Job Title: Application Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $92 Per hour

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to client specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure application functionality meets business needs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve any bugs or issues
• Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot any application-related problems
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve application development processes
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers and other team members
• Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Conduct thorough research and propose innovative solutions to improve application performance and user experience
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
• Document all development processes and maintain accurate records of all changes made to the application
• Continuously monitor and analyze application performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure seamless adoption and utilization of the application

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of database management and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient code
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
