Location: New York, New York, United States
Position Type: Contract
Salary: $92 Per hour
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C++ Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our C++ applications. As a C++ Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing efficient and robust software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable C++ code for our applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing codebase
- Ensure code quality and performance by conducting thorough testing and code reviews
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our software products
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, from concept to deployment
- Mentor and guide junior team members to promote a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of years of experience as a C++ Engineer or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database design
- Familiarity with networking protocols and multi-threaded programming
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
