Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing a team of IT professionals and providing guidance and support as needed
Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of our systems
Monitor network and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with external IT vendors to resolve any technical problems
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IT and provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements
Manage and maintain company hardware and software inventory, including purchasing and setting up new equipment and licenses as needed
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs, and provide training and support to employees on new systems or software
Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure the protection and availability of company data
Prepare and present reports to upper management on IT performance and expenses, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting
Strong technical knowledge and experience with network and system administration, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and Mac operating systems, and basic coding languages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards common goals
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with strict deadlines
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, CCNA) are a plus
