Salary: $190000 - $224000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Azure Data Architect to join our team. As an Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's data architecture on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our data infrastructure in order to support our business objectives. This is a highly technical and hands-on role that requires an in-depth understanding of cloud-based data management, database design, and data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architecture on the Microsoft Azure platform, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate data storage and processing technologies based on business needs and industry best practices.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure performance issues and implement necessary optimizations and improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, data flow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
• In-depth knowledge of database design principles and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
