As a Senior Hadoop Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Hadoop-based data platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain our Hadoop-based data platform
• Collaborate with the data science team to build scalable and efficient data pipelines
• Analyze and optimize Hadoop ecosystem components for maximum performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any Hadoop-related issues in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to process and load data into Hadoop
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security
• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the Hadoop ecosystem
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Hadoop developers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hadoop Developer
• Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark, and HBase
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python
• Proficient in SQL and database design
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient Hadoop solutions
