Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP
Monitor and maintain the health and performance of our cloud environment
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to GCP services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and management of cloud resources
Implement best practices for security, disaster recovery, and backup in the cloud
Evaluate new GCP services and features and make recommendations for their implementation
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in GCP to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP
Proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and experience with GCP Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Load Balancing
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
Hands-on experience with Linux administration and shell scripting
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and ELK stack
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
GCP certifications are a plus
