Salary: $133000 - $160000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux System Admin to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration, with a deep understanding of system architecture, network protocols, and security. The Linux System Admin will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our company's Linux servers and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who is able to work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Ensure system security by implementing best practices and regular updates
• Create and maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans
• Manage system users and permissions
• Collaborate with other teams to deploy and maintain new applications and services
• Proactively identify and implement system improvements to enhance performance and reliability
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Linux systems administration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Linux systems administration
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Redhat, CentOS, and Ubuntu
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash or Python
• Familiarity with network protocols and security measures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
